At times in the 1970's and 180's Styx dominated radio with a mix of prog-rock and concept albums. Writing and vocals were by Tommy Shaw and Dennis De Young, which often put them in conflict but generated hits like "Babe" "Lady" "Blue Collar Man" "Come Sail Away" "Fooling Yourself" and "Mr. Roboto"
